Ridgeview thanks community!
Ridgeview would like to thank everyone for their generous support and enthusiasm during the Ride for Hope - an otherwise cloudy, cool day was brightened by the positivity of DCS Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Mike Cull; Anderson County Mayor, Terry Frank; ORPD Officers; Robertsville Middle School teachers, staff, and students; TDMHSAS Commissioner Marie Williams; the celebrated DCS graduates; the very talented and local musical guest, Sydney Buckner; fourteen vendors; and all of the staff who made the 2017 Ride for Hope successful!
Riders gather for launch at DCS in Clinton - far left: Marcy Martin, Regional Administrator East Region; Deputy Commissioner Dr. Mike Cull; and Julie Rotella, Executive Director - Service Region Administrative Support for Child Programs.
Riders and DCS staff gather around Anderson County Mayor Terry Frank on the footsteps of the Anderson County Courthouse. Mayor Frank presented a proclamation making May Mental Health Awareness Month and shared a beautifully crafted personal reflection.
Riders gather alongside teachers, administrators, and staff of Robertsville Middle School after having dispersed green "Ride for Hope" wristbands to students.
Final destination: Riders surround TDMHSAS Commissioner Marie Williams prior to hearing her powerful, inspirational keynote remarks. The standing-room-only crowd was a welcomed sight riders and a fitting way to conclude the importance of mental health awareness!
We'd also like to thank two very special contributors who helped make the R4H possible: Genoa Pharmacy as our lead sponsor and TN Bank! Your sponsorship of the event made a huge impact - thank you!
